Better Windows For More Peace And Comfortability: Tips And Tricks To Enhance Your Window Decor And P

In bottom of the pot I place 2-3mm layer of Coconut Husk Fibre to prevent soil escaping (and slugs getting into the pot).I use 70% of the above "mega mix" with 30% of the above seed raising propagation soil mix (Search for Scott's Osmocote Seed Raising Propagation mix I think it is called? Dark green bag! Will give you an idea). - Coir Peat retains moisture but doesn't remain 'wet'. - Sphagnum moss will retain more moisture, but if mixed well, will ensure mix is not 'wet'. - Peat moss will make the mix nice and light weight, acidic and and aerated. - Vermiculite, Perlite, Pumice, Scoria, Mafia stone, Diatomaceous earth, Zerolite and other course aggregate will provide better drainage!! Must rinse so fine dust is removed - avoid 'mud' clogging up roots! - Charcoal will keep bacteria, smells and microbes in check. Seems to make the plants happier!

Dear Wendy,I am sorry your sweet boy is nearing the end of his life. I understand how difficult it is to make a choice to say goodbye. From what you describe, it does sound like he is struggling and letting go may be the only way to give him peace and rest. I always think it is better to say goodbye one day too early rather than one day too late and allow unnecessary suffering. I hope you can find the advice you need to make the best decision for you and your pup. Praying for your strength and comfort.

Smokey loved you more than anything else in the whole world. He loved you more than he loved himself. He knew you would never, ever hurt him. Give yourself peace knowing that you looked after your loyal friend till the end. The decision is never easy.

Dear Glenster,My heart goes out to you with this difficult situation you are in with Lily. It definitely sounds like her health is deteriorating and she is nearing the end of her days. I will attach links to other articles with more details and advice/comments from other readers that may help to make this hard decision more bearable. I do think it is better to say goodbye one day too early rather than one day too late and allow unnecessary suffering. There is no greater act of selflessness and love than to allow your own heart to break so that your dog can find peace and rest. I am sorry you even have to make this choice. I pray for your strength and comfort as you navigate the unknown road ahead. Wishing the best to everyone involved.

Dear Ashley,I understand your concern for your senior boy and his declining mental health. What you are describing sounds like symptoms commonly seen in dogs that suffer from canine cognitive dysfunction/dementia. Making the decision to say goodbye is incredible difficult, but especially when most of the issues are mental rather than physical. It is ok to consider euthanasia for dogs struggling with dementia like your little pup. You have the ability to make the most loving and unselfish choice to give him peace and rest after a lifetime of love and devotion. Here is a link to another article with more information and great comments from other readers: Dementia in Dogs: When to Euthanize Your Beloved Senior DogI pray for your strength and comfort in this most difficult time. Bless you both.

Dear Julie,I understand the grief that comes with saying goodbye to a beloved senior pup. It sounds like you made the right decision, and it came from a place of love. Try not to look at it like you took joy away from him, but rather allowed him to find peace and rest and prevented unnecessary suffering. I always think it is better to let go one day too early rather than one day too late. I hope with time your heart will heal. May his memory be a blessing.

Dear Cheradie,My heart aches for you and the difficult situation you are in with Gwyn. I know how hard it is to decide when to let go. It sounds like she is struggling quite a bit and her quality of life is declining. I always think it is better to say goodbye one day too early rather than one day too late and see them suffer needlessly. Even though letting go will cause heartbreak, it is the most loving and unselfish decision we can make for a beloved dog. I will attach a link to another article that may offer additional information and great comments from other readers. I hope you can find the answers you need to make the best decision for you and your sweet girl. This article has brought me much clarity and peace, thank you!! I am getting ready to put my baby Rosie down as she has been fighting skin cancer for 6+months now. I find it the most fascinating to be a witness of her strength. The hardest part in making this decision was being confused because she does not show that she is going through it. Her tail wags with excitement, goes on short walks, is eating/going potty normally, and plays fetch with her favorite ball. But I know it is time for her to find her peace once more. Big hugs to all who are going through this processing.

Dear Yvonne,I understand what a difficult decision you have to make. It is different for every dog and every situation is unique. Letting go is the most loving and unselfish thing we can do for a beloved dog that is suffering. Oral pain can be severe, and dogs are masters at hiding just how bad they feel. I always think it is better to say goodbye one day too early rather than one day too late. I try to let them go with dignity while they are still happy and have some joy. Ultimately, you know your pup better than anyone and will have to decide what is best for you and her. I hope you get the answers you need to find the right timing for a final goodbye and allow your girl to have peace and rest. Praying you find strength for the hard days ahead.

Dear Lisa,I can feel the emotion in your words and understand the difficult decision you have in front of you. It is hard to say goodbye knowing it will give sweet Bently peace but leave you heartbroken. Dogs are amazing and give us everything. Allowing them to find their final rest is the last, most loving, and unselfish choice we can make. I always say it is better to let go one day too early rather than one day too late. I hope you can find the answers you need to feel comfortable with whatever decision you decide to make. I pray his last days are filled with love and that his memory will be a blessing to you and your family.

Dear Dee Ann Marie,It sounds like you are making the right decision for Abby. 16 years is a long time to have the love of a dog, which makes saying goodbye that much more difficult. I hope you find comfort in knowing you were able to give your sweet girl final peace and rest. May her memory be a blessing.

Scoot in peace and quiet when you reserve seats in our ScootinSilence zone located at the front of all our 787 Dreamliners. Besides the exclusive and silent cabin (no kids under 12 allowed here), you can also enjoy additional comfort -- every seat comes with an adjustable headrest and you can reserve Super and Stretch seats (where available)! What's more, you'll also be able to get off the aircraft ahead of others upon landing!

There are other benefits to flying first class as well -- often there are fewer people seated in that section, which means less noise and more peace and quiet for much-needed Zs. If not first class, then consider getting premium economy seats, which come with their own benefits including more legroom, wider seats, and more space to recline (depending on the airline).

The Bible reminds us over and over again of the comfort and peace that comes from being known and loved by God. We are truly known and perfectly loved, even more clearly and truly than we know and love ourselves! In fact, it is often quite difficult for us to know ourselves well, to discern clearly our longings, needs, and deepest desires.

Grab a candle or burning incense stick. Hold it by your window frames and slowly move it around each corner of the window. If the candle flickers or the smoke moves, drafts are coming through your windows. Really bad windows will even have visible light coming through the frame in spots when you try this in the dark with a flashlight. Just imagine how much warmer and more comfortable your home would be if all those little holes were sealed up.

While older windows are generally single-paned and vulnerable to leaks, newer windows are highly efficient and designed to help prevent air from transferring in and out of your home. You should consider replacing those leaky windows with ones that contain argon gas and low-emissivity (LoE) glass to save on heating bills. LoE glass can keep heat in during the winter and out during the summer, greatly reducing your heating and cooling costs and providing a more comfortable living space year-round.

One of the clearest signs that you need to replace your windows is decaying window frames. As wooden window frames are exposed to moisture, they will begin to degrade. Built-up moisture damage can also cause more serious decay down the road, causing severe safety issues. You may also notice that you have leaky windows. In some cases, we've seen homes where the windows are leaking so badly that they are leaving pools of water on the floor. Yikes!

Take a moment to stand quietly by the window and wait for a vehicle to drive by. Can you hear it coming from down the street? Single-pane windows or even double-pane windows will transfer sound vibrations from the street into your house. Before you know it, all the noise will add up and you can wave goodbye to the peace and quiet. The best energy-efficient windows will prevent these sound waves from entering your home.
